3 announces more PDA style handsets – Nokia E61

nokia E61Nokia E61 I’ve known about the nokia E61 for a little while now having seen a couple kicking around the office and have been impressed with the functionality of it.  The design is a bit of a departure for Nokia in that it follows more of a Palm Treo layout and is very similar in size.

The screen layout and menus are excellent and although I only had a few minutes with it, the functionality looks impressive.  The one draw back is the lack of camera, either still or video.  So now video calling or video messaging here.  The rest of the specifications list though is fairly comprehensive though.

Looking at three’s website it seems that it is going to be priced reasonably as well. Looking today with a new contract the phone can be purchased for free see three.co.uk for details
